First i measure the level of moisture on my skin as it is with no skincare nor makeup okay. It's 31.0%! Freaking low lolol. I read on the internet anything below 40 is consider dry skin T.T

Pretty flowers and hair calls for a pretty mind

SUPPPP!!!

Sorry for the influx of adverts before and.. Soon =X I had problem trying to fix in a normal post also =(( Cox the schedule for my ads are lined up real tight. So i say sorry to you all first lah, i treasure all the nice readers i have so.. Thank you for your tolerance and support haha!

But rest assure it's all good things i'm sharing ^.^V

The coming week is looking a lot less busy for me but whenever i start to look forward to a  nuasai week, something else will come up and fill my days so i better don't jinx it too much!! Haha.

Now i just try my best lah. Lotsa work piling up? Don't worry, take 5 - 8 ferrero rocher and listen to some music and shake leg for 10 minutes while i chit chat on whatsapp for a bit.. THEN i work.

Hahah. I remember about 3 years ago in late 2011 i got a little overwhelmed with work and one day i just decided to not do anything, walk out to nowhere and loiter aimlessly.

And i walk into a restaurant to eat one pork belly main course, with one foie gras, and a mushroom soup. Drank some water and wander off again to keep walking until i walk off the overwhelming feeling inside me and then i took a cab home. Lol.

That was the time i just started my blogging career with Nuffnang and started to get adverts and all. And i get stressed so easily becox nobody ever expected anything much from the things i talk about on my blog before. Even if they did, they paid $20 - $50 for it back then so i kinda think they didn't expect THAT much? Hahah.

But with bigger $ comes bigger responsibilities and i couldn't get used to the idea that people have expectations of me o.o So i think i got a little too stressed out then but then i learnt to deal with it by eating and more eating. Lol. Which really has to stop cox when i get busy or stressed, i either DON'T EAT cox i will be so focused on work i don't feel hungry or i EAT A HELL LOT. It's not good lah.

Over time i have learnt to deal with healthy stress like that and i kinda figured out that i have gotten to where i've always wanted to be at this point of life. You know how you have not just one goal in life. You have many wishes and many dreams but at every one point, only some will come true and happen for you.. And some other dreams just have to wait. Or they just don't interest you anymore.

I am happy to say that whatever i want for to happen, is happening right now =)

Even though i am tight up with a lot of work.. I am still planning for more things to happen becox there are just too many things i wanna try and do! I think i have love for too many things. If i am apathetic and hate most things in life, i will probably have a lot more time on hand. Hahaha.

In any case, i tell myself to KEEP GOING~ =D One fine day, all the dreams that i have will happen in real life for me =))) And when that happens.. All i wanna do is to stay home with the favourite people in my life.. And toast the day away on the roof terrace of my big big house.. Ahh...

THE LUNCHEON WAS SO COOL AND UPSCALE =OOO It's held at Au Petit Salut and i had the BEST PASTA OF MY LIFE there!!! I sound very sua gu but IT IS.. IT IS THE BEST I HAD!!!

I swear i spent most of my 5 hours there just looking at how amazing these flowers are. They are so pink.. So smooth.. So vulnerable but have been so strong.. O.O

I touch and gently stroke the petals.. And really feel quite humbled.

It's like.. WEIRD.

I never liked flowers and it's not a secret =XXX But after getting in contact with A LOT of flowers in the past 2 months plus.. I must say i am beginning to like them a lot.. And it's still weird.

Flower girl image and me don't really go. I am more of a crude and rude person but flowers are so delicate and beautiful =) They really are! I have been having this silent rave inside me about how amazing a lot of things in life are. Things that i never appreciate maybe cox i never thought i would or that i could (afford to).

I was asking Pearl and then i also asked Samantha and then maybe i might have asked Gem too.. All three on separate occasions. Becox this is how passionately i felt about it hahaha.

And now for the fourth time i am asking you all.

Have you noticed what are the rare few things that are super beautiful and have many many colours, amazing range of colours, that is from the nature. Colours that occur and exist on their own..

I could only think of fishes and flowers..

Animals maybe but then animals only exist in general towards black, white, brown, green. Okay maybe snakes are really colourful but then again the range is not as colourful as fishes and flowers.

So if underwater the most beautiful things are fishes.. Then i think on earth the most beautiful things are flowers =))) Si Jie damn annoying she tell me leaves are also very beautiful i say "ERM. NO? It's mostly green like dark green, ew?" She say leaves also got red hue. Like whatever. Lol. I think she's pushing her luck. I finally like flowers now she wanna make me like the leaves. No thanks. Lol.

A mini fresh flower market =))) I wish more companies and events will hire us so we can prepare fresh bouquets on the spot for their guests or they can DIY with our help! Haha. What's more extravagant and beautiful than that?

I went to let Sio handle my hair for the last time in the old shop!!! Hahah. No make up that day! Finally he agree to help me get rid of my blue =OOO And also did special steam treatment that day!

Washed down to a nice ashy shade of brown! With some green he intentionally added.

And icy silvery ends!!! I LOVE MY HAIR ENDS. The colour i mean. Not the quality of the hair haha. It's so icy and ashy i love it!!! Sio is awesome. But the bad news is...... He is really too full and packed that i can only book him after his work time T.T Which makes me feel really bad cox ren jia work whole day already still have to work on my hair after work all the way until 12am plus T.T

But then again i don't feel so bad afterall cox i really loveee my hair everytime after he touches it! Hahaha. We name this hair colour Matcha Chocolate Frappe!!! Green, ashy brown and icey silver ends!

Only with hair done by Sio i swear i feel chio even without makeup hahahaha.

120 colours to choose from the PENTAX Q7 series @.@

HOW TO CHOOSE?!?!?!?!??!

I REALLY COULDN'T DECIDE LOR!!!

So i finally shortlist down to 10. Then 7. Then 5. Then 3.

Then i keep going through my head..

"Blue is my favourite and lucky colour"

"But i love pink!!!"

"But pink and purple looks better!!!"

"But what about blue!!!"

What a tough decision to make in life. Hahahah. Also, you'd be happy to know that other than being extra cute with the different choices of colours and the vintage-inspired body, the Pentax Q7 is also known for being the World’s Smallest Interchangeable lens camera!

IT ONLY WEIGHS 200 GRAMS!!!

HOW LOVELY IS THIS! So cute and fun-size.

I stopped using compact cameras for years already and have been using a few semi-pro. Sometimes when i go back to looking at compact camera picture quality i cannot quite accept =XXX

It's like there's no front-sharp-back-blur effect, everything looks very candid snapshots and amateurish lah. But i feel capturing moments and chioness should deserve a better quality camera.

Of course when it comes to quality and functionality DSLRs are still the best but i can tell you.. I bought a relatively expensive DSLR about two years back (was feeling motivated to take chioer pictures for this blog hahah) but i have NEVER ONCE brought it out =XXX

And so far i've never figured out how to use a DSLR cox of all the complex technical terms.

Also it's just not so much for me cox it's too bulky and heavy. But semi pro like the Pentax Q7 serves almost as well as a DSLR but is lightweight and really easy to use. And the quality is better than most compact cameras i'd say! Function wise it's similar and comparable to a DSLR but just much easier to comprehend lah.

AND!!! The interchangeable lenses for the Pentax are sooooo cute!!! They are tiny and lightweight!

You see!

The longest length of the Pentax toy lens are no taller than let's say for example.. A Ferrero Rocher hahahaha. It's really very small lah especially when you remove the lens protector cap!!! And then say for their standard zoom lens.. It's no taller than my YSL Lippie. Haha. You understand me and my lens so well now! Congrats. Haha.

I show you roughly how a fixed up Pentax Q7 looks like okay. I adjusted the size as close to the actual product size as possible already. Maybe just slightly bigger in picture.

And then you have a standard Big Mac burger size. By the way a Big Mac also weighs about 200g. Which is the weight of a Pentax Q7 hahaha. The affinity they have.

So if you have a Pentax Q7 body on its own, it's actually looking much smaller than a Big Mac O.O TOTALLY ADORABLE. Haha! Let's see some random pictures i snapped with Pentax Q7 okay =D

Right. First shot has to be this. I LOVE HOW EVERY DETAIL STANDS OUT WITH THE 01 PRIME LENS!!! It's my favourite lens. Can you just look at my eyeshadow lah please. All the shimmer and glitz are showing. It's a gold eyeshadow! Couldn't capture it right previously. It'd just look yellow lol.

Then i switch to the 06 zoom lens and run outside the room to snap a zoomed in picture hahah. This is how easy it is to change the lens, i can do it within like 5 seconds. Lol. Anyway the whole view is of course a lot wider and bigger but i zoomed in quite a lot and everything's still sharp. Quite impressed!

Back to change to the prime lens. Hahaha.

Then the 07 toy lens!!! Where it gives you this dreamy soft focus corner effect!!!

Same items but using different lens! Here i'm using the prime lens. I am quite enjoying acting like a pro and going "Oh this shot we can use the PRIME LENS" Yeah i am sooooo professional haha.

Since my favourite lens was the standard prime lens i brought it out with me lah haha. Wanted to snap some good food shots but i swear the restaurant was sooooo badly lit hahaha. I was like SIAN.

But snapped some shots anyway!!! And they turn out pretty alright despite the dim lighting!!!

This one i didn't even adjust the lighting. I AM OFFICIALLY IMPRESSED BY MYSELF (okay lah, by the prime lens lah) hahaha. I love how it's able to snap quality pictures even in dim lightings and also most importantly, THE FRONT-SHARP BACK BLUR EFFECT!!! Hahah. Like a pro.

All clear, down to every detail ^.^ With the standard prime lens also lah.

Got home and changed to the zoom lens and snap this picture. Clear bu clear? Haha. Clear hor.

Then i change in and out of the different lens and trying to decide which lens i should keep bringing out with me and then i decided it's both the prime and zoom lens!!! Zoom lens damn good for taking great pictures of things that are generally "away" from us. I think i'd bring it to the zoo to snap pictures of the panda when i get to visit!!! Haha.

Prime lens is perfect for artsy and professional-looking pictures. Like this above. Haha.

Really gotta give it to the Pentax Q7 for being the coolest, chioest and cutest, AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, the most functionable camera with interchangeable lens!!! And it's also the smallest!!! You see lah, my tub of Laneige Water Pack looks a bit fat next to the camera hahaha.

Now we know Pentax Q7 come in 120 different colours right. Here's the variety of lenses you can explore when you're considering getting the camera:

I didn't get to try all the lenses yet but so far i love both the prime and standard zoom lens!!! The toy lens is cool for special effect though!

It has 12.4 effective megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor. DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THIS BABY BLUE AND COTTON WHITE BODY!!!

In love with this brown and gold one. It'd be a great gift for a guy or a girl with good taste! It's also able to shoot at 5 fps burst shooting (5 frames, JPEG) and take Full 1080 HD video! It's also able to shoot in RAW file for those who might need it.

3.0 inch LCD with 460,000 dot resolution and is able to shoot at ISO 100-12800!!

I KNOW. I am sooooooooooo in love with this cotton candy pink and lilac one!!!!!! *hearts eyes*

By the way i snapped all these camera pictures with a Standard Prime lens with the Pentax Q7. Everything is so clear you can see specks of dust.

Red is a really hot colour by the way! Lotsa ladies love this colour. Also one thing i like about the Pentax Q7 is the filter! That you can easily switch from one to another with a quick button! There, the circular button at the front, with numbers 1 - 4.

With that you get this effect. The toy camera effect!

The camera holder is also really nice lah. White leather-like. Completes the whole "I am cool" hipster look hahaha.

Okay i am leaving you here! You may consider getting the Pentax Q7 if you're into photography but never is hardworking enough to pick up a DSLR hahaha. It feels like i am talking about myself.

Also it's a great gift cox the colour of the whole camera can be customised to someone's specific liking and preference =D Most importantly.. It looks really pretty!!! Haha!
